The Soil Born Farms Cooks Club: Teen Empowerment After-School Program in Rancho Cordova is an after-school, biweekly enrichment program that offers interactive, hands-on cooking experiences using local produce and organic ingredients. Teens will work together to prepare and share dishes that are both tasty and healthy. Farm-to-fork recipes teach youth where their food comes from and foster an appreciation of healthy ingredients. Soil Born Farms is devoted to giving every teen the opportunity of a positive connection to whole foods and empowering them to cook for themselves and their families. Dinner included at each session.
Held on Tuesdays: February 12 and 26, March 12 and 26, April 9 and 23, and May 14 and 28 from 3:30 PM to 6 PM
Price: $250 (meals are included)
