The City of Rancho Cordova’s Zoning Code is the primary tool our city uses to implement the General Plan, which serves as a blueprint for the future growth and development for our community. The Zoning Code divides the city into districts and has different regulations for each district for allowed land uses, the maximum size of structures, and the performance requirements, such as landscaping or parking. Read the Zoning Code here.
To view a map of zoning districts in the city, click here. Search for an address or click on the map areas to learn more about the zoning districts. Once the district pops up, click on the zoning code for more specific information. The map also shows two overlay districts that establish additional regulations for properties within the districts.
Please note that the Rancho Cordova Zoning Portal is no longer in use. The map linked above provides zoning district information, and the city will continue to explore other potential options.
