The City of Rancho Cordova’s Finance Department is responsible for the safeguarding and accounting of the city’s financial assets.
Responsibilities
The Finance Department develops and manages four financial documents that incorporate feedback from the City Council and city residents on the community’s needs and priorities: Budget, Budget Snapshot, Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and Development Impact Fee Report.
Current and Historical Documents
The Finance Department also completes the annual audit process, invests the city’s assets, provides day-to-day accounting functions from business licensing to payroll, and provides risk management to the city.
Taxes
There are four primary taxes in the City of Rancho Cordova:
- Property Taxes
- Transient Occupancy Tax
- Utility Users Tax
- Cardroom Tax
