Career

Amanda Norton is the Economic Development Director for the City of Rancho Cordova. In this role, she directs the strategic initiatives that drive business growth, foster innovation, and enhance the economic vitality of the city. She has developed and directs all the City’s current incentive programs. She brings over 18 years of municipal government experience in urban planning, housing, and economic strategy, with a focus on development and fostering innovation.

Education

Amanda has a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of California, Davis.

Boards & Committees

She has held a seat on the Greater Sacramento Economic Council Board of Directors, the Rancho Cordova Area Chamber of Commerce, and currently sits on the Visit Rancho Cordova Board of Directors.
