With support from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the City of Rancho Cordova has partnered with Upwards and Wonderschool to assist new and existing in-home childcare providers to increase childcare capacity in Rancho Cordova. The Upwards BOOST program provides support to local Family Childcare Providers as well as those aspiring to start their in-home daycare business. BOOST gives income-eligible home daycare providers and aspiring daycare owners free business support and tech tools to manage their business, connect with families and reach their earning potential.

Wonderschool assists new and aspiring in-home childcare businesses to get their businesses started in Rancho Cordova. The Wonderschool Academy provides a 90-day Bootcamp, licensing assistance, business planning, website building, and 2-years of one-on-one coaching and support.
