In the Heart of Our Community

Mills Crossing 4 6 2023

Project Information

The City of Rancho Cordova is making great progress toward its goal of developing a civic amenity right in the heart of our community. This public-private partnership’s goal is to develop a 10-acre, city-owned parcel into a beautiful urban hub for our community that focuses on the arts, health and wellness, cultural and community space, creative maker spaces, housing and retail.

Located on Folsom Boulevard adjacent to Folsom Lake College/Rancho Cordova Center and across the street from the Mills Station Arts & Culture Center (The MACC), Mills Crossing will offer both indoor and outdoor flexible gathering spaces, as well as market-rate (for sale) townhomes and multi-family housing, while further revitalizing Folsom Blvd. and maximizing a transit-oriented center.

The City Council held four public work sessions with residents, businesses and interested parties to refine the vision for the project, select a location, and review various site layouts. The City Council, after much public input and discussion, has prioritized the potential uses for this project as visual and performing arts, health and wellness, as well as flexible indoor and outdoor community meeting spaces, residential, and retail uses.
