Home MenuHousing Element
The City of Rancho Cordova has a Housing Element that guides the city’s decision for future housing and ensures there are housing opportunities for everyone in our community. The Housing Element includes goals and policies to meet future housing needs, housing programs, and housing objectives in the city and region. The Housing Element is created with feedback from our community and City Council to identify specific housing needs and opportunities.

2013-2021 Housing Element Update
On December 16, 2013, the City Council adopted the 2013-2021 Housing Element Update of the city's General Plan.
Addendum
An addendum was prepared in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the CEQA Guidelines. This document has been prepared to serve as an addendum to the previously certified Rancho Cordova General Plan Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), which consists of the Draft EIR and the Final EIR.
As demonstrated in the environmental analysis provided in Section 3.0 (Environmental Analysis) of the addendum to the Rancho Cordova General Plan Final EIR (addendum), proposed changes do not meet the criteria for preparing a subsequent or supplemental EIR.
The project may be approved as activity covered within the scope of the program EIR. An addendum is appropriate here because, as explained in Section 3.0, none of the conditions calling for a preparation of a subsequent EIR have occurred.
