Megan Siren plays an integral role on the city’s Leadership Team by planning and implementing cross-departmental projects for the City Manager. In this role, she manages large projects, such as the multi-million dollar Rancho Cordova Youth Center project, as well as City Hall space planning and facility improvements.

Career

Megan has over 15 years of experience in local government, primarily in Public Works where she managed capital improvement budgets, but she has also managed public transit projects. In her role as Assistant to the City Manager, she supports priority projects needed by the City Council and City Manager.

Education

Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and has graduated from the Sacramento Valley Leadership Academy. Megan served on the Board of Directors for the California Transit Systems Joint Powers Authority and volunteers with Cool Charity, which provides support to kids in need during the holiday season. She is also the Region 3 Co-Chair for the Municipal Management Association of Northern California.
