Housing Programs

2022 Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA)

The City of Rancho Cordova will be submitting an application to the California Department of Housing and Community Development for the 2022 PLHA Program Entitlement Local Government Formula Component. This program provides funding to jurisdictions on a formula basis from SB 2 (2017). Jurisdictions are required to prepare a five-year plan to spend this funding on qualified housing projects. The City of Rancho Cordova is eligible for approximately $1,712,196 between Fiscal Year 2019/2020 through Fiscal Year 2023/2024. The draft plan will be considered for City Council approval on October 3, 2022. The Draft Plan may be reviewed here:

Notice of Availability of Surplus Land

Pursuant to the provisions of California Government Code Section 54220 et seq. (the “Surplus Land Act”), the City of Rancho Cordova hereby notifies those entities designated in Section 54222 of the Surplus Land Act of the availability for lease or purchase of the following City-owned land for the purposes authorized in the Surplus Land Act, which land the City intends to declare surplus before the City takes action to dispose of it consistent with the Surplus Land Act and the City’s policies or procedures.
