Event Space

Rancho Cordova City Hall offers over 5,000 square feet of rentable event space, built-in audio visual, many amenities, and responsive staff.  The largest room, the American River Rooms, can accommodate up to 126 people set in rounds with room for catering tables and presentation.  

Rental Fees

Rental fees at Rancho Cordova City Hall are shown in the table below. All fees are hourly, unless noted otherwise. An additional fee of $20 per hour will be applied outside normal business hours, which is weekdays before 8 AM or after 5 PM, weekends and holidays.

How to Rent Space

Step 1: Read the City of Rancho Cordova’s Rental Use Agreement to make sure Rancho Cordova City Hall is the right fit for your event needs. 

Step 2: Call or text a city events coordinator at 916-851-8817 to inquire about availability.  Space is available on a first come, first served basis.  Event reservations must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event date and can be made up to one year in advance.  Recurring events are allowed as well. 

Step 3: You will be directed to submit an application through Rancho Cordova Online. Your deposit invoice and room rental invoice will be due a week prior to your event date(s). Both payments can be made through Rancho Cordova Online, a mailed check, or in person at Rancho Cordova City Hall.

Liability Insurance

You must have liability insurance to rent an event space. You must obtain broad form comprehensive general liability insurance, naming the City of Rancho Cordova as additional insured. Amounts of required insurance will be based on the type and size of the event with a minimum limit of coverage of $1 million. You must further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of Rancho Cordova, its officers, agents, and employees against any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses of whatever nature, including court costs and attorney fees arising out of or resulting from the user’s use of city facilities.

You must provide a certificate of insurance from your chosen agency (commonly used agencies below). Additional insurance costs apply if alcohol will be served at the meeting or events.
