“Poperetta! From the Heart” is a combination of sophisticated comedy and romantic melodies and songs performed by a cast of singers and Symphony d’Oro Rancho Cordova. The show features drag artists such as Katya, who delivers anecdotes and stories about her life.

“It’s no standard practice for a community orchestra to be creating original pop shows at this level. It’s exceedingly unusual and almost unheard of,” said Artistic Director and creator of the show, Pete Nowlen. “This is possible because of the incredible support that we receive from the City of Rancho Cordova.”
