On July 4, 2022, the City of Rancho Cordova will launch a Food Waste Recycling Program to comply with a new state law, Senate Bill 1383. This program will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the effects of climate change, which include severe drought, warmer temperatures, increased wildfires, and severe storms.
