Vesper Energy is proposing to construct a battery storage facility on a 5.69- acre site, adjacent to the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Cordova substation. This project will provide essential grid resiliency and reliability services using battery technology to store electricity from the grid when supply is abundant and deliver it to customers when it is needed the most.
