The Cordova Community Council is proud to present a community event on Memorial Day, May 29 honoring those who have bravely served the nation in time of war and peace. This event is a tribute to those who have served in the defense of the nation, including those who have paid the ultimate price. Our plans for 2023 include a moving musical tribute and recognition ceremony for Memorial Day staged at the beautiful Cordova High School Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.

This year's event honors Vietnam heroes for the 50th Anniversary of the end of Vietnam Conflict. The Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band will premiere "Granite III", a musical tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. Learn more
