The Greater Sacramento Urban League is hosting a free, performing arts event called “Black History and Beyond” on Friday, February 10 from 7 PM to 8:30 PM at Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive.

The event features cultural dance, choir, poetry readings, music and a comedy entertainer. The event is supported by a grant from the city’s Community Enhancement & Investment Fund. As part of Black History Month, it will showcase artistic expression in honor of African Americans’ contributions to Rancho Cordova and throughout the Sacramento region.
