February is National Black History Month, which celebrates the important contributions Black Americans have made to our country and culture. Black history is American history, and the Folsom Cordova Unified School District (FCUSD) acknowledges and honors the rich cultural heritage and triumphs of African Americans throughout U.S. history.

FCUSD is interested in hearing input from families of Black youth. In the spirit of Black History Month, it is hosting the Black Families United for Education event to be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Cordova High School.
