Caltrans District 3 is hosting a Clean California Free Dump Day. Caltrans will have maintenance staff on site to accept non-hazardous household waste and other approved debris at no charge. Other acceptable items include tires, household appliances, and mattresses. The event will take place until capacity is reached.

This special event is being held in concert with Clean California’s Community Days of Action, March 17 – 27. Community clean-ups, tree plantings, Dump Days and other special events scheduled throughout California can be found by visiting Clean California Community Days. This event may be cancelled due to operational needs.

The monthly Dump Day events are held at various locations in District 3’s eleven northern California counties. Dump Day events are organized to further Caltrans’ goal of keeping California highways, waterways and rest areas litter-free as part of the Clean California Initiative.
