Medicinal Herbs in the Kitchen

One of the most fun and effective ways to use herbs is simply to eat them! This class will explore the many ways medicinal herbs can be included in foods, as well as the medicinal properties of several common culinary herbs. We’ll cover several safe and enjoyable methods for including herbs in food, including herbal powders, sprinkles, broths, pestos, and more. I’ll share recipes for improving digestion, increasing calm, avoiding illness, etc. The class includes lecture, an herb walk, tastings, and hands-on medicine-making.
