Join us at an upcoming workshop beginning at Navigator Elementary School, 10679 Bear Hollow Drive, on Saturday, December 9 from 9 AM - 12 PM to learn the art and science of pruning young trees. Following, we will take a short walk to the Bear Hollow stormwater basin where we will put our skills to the test.
In this workshop you will learn the goals of young tree pruning, the proper equipment it takes for the job and how and where to make proper pruning cuts to maintain the health, safety, vigor and appearance of your young trees.
The workshop is free and attendees will also receive a FREE pair of bypass pruners. Refreshments will be provided.
