Each year we celebrate the work of our next generations of artists. This show is open to TK-12 grade Rancho Cordova Students. The schools can be public, private, or Charter Schools. Schools that participate are within the city limits of Rancho Cordova which include three public unified school districts (Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Elk Grove Unified School District, and Sacramento City Unified School District).
Teachers and schools are responsible for the curating and delivering of the student works and delivering them to the MACC on set dates. If a student attends a school outside of Rancho Cordova, but the family resides in Rancho they can set up a delivery of the art and the protocols for the show by contacting Cheryl@cordovacouncil.org.
2023 had over 400 pieces of art in a wide variety of mediums (paint, pencil, mixed media, collage, fabric, ceramic, sculpture, cardboard, and digital). This exhibit is a community and family favorite, and we hope you will come out to see what the next generation of creatives are up to.
Art in schools is an important and critical part of the education process for youth.
This event takes place in the City of Rancho Cordova, which is part of the Sacramento region.
