Autumn is a wonderful time to focus on boosting overall health and addressing challenges such as exhaustion and low immunity during the cold and flu season. This class introduces the plant remedies most useful this time of year for supporting the body and mind as we transition into the cooler, darker months. We’ll explore the joy of seasonal eating and herbal foods by sharing a lunch together which incorporates many of the ideas discussed in the class. We’ll take a walk to look at herbs in the fall, and we’ll make herbal foods together, including seasonal pesto and herbal sprinkles. You’ll take some home!
You’ll learn:
- How the seasons affect our bodies and how we can find better balance through seasonal habits
- The beautiful synergy between the needs of our bodies and the herbs available during each season
- Ways of using herbs to help balance seasonal challenges and improve well-being
- Herbal foods for improving health and happiness.
