A proposed project will transform unused railroad along Mather Road to a new bike trail! The City of Rancho Cordova invites you to a public meeting to discuss the Mather Rails to Trails project on Tuesday, July 7th at 5:30 p.m. at Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive.

The proposed bike trail will connect the communities near Mills Station Road and Mather Field Road to the Mather Commerce Center south of Old Placerville Road. The project is part of a nationwide effort to increase accessibility by transforming railroads to bike trails. We have secured a $2.2 million grant from the Sacramento Area Council of Governments to fund the project.
