It’s time for contact! Meet the 2015 edition of the Cordova High School Football Lancers at a special community event on Saturday, August 15th. Meet the coaches, teams and cheerleaders and be part of a classic Cordova High Pep Rally and some inspirational fire-up talk from 6-8 p.m.

In celebration of its upcoming opening, Chick-fil-A will be offering complimentary sandwiches to the participants at 6 p.m. Limit one per person and valid only while supplies last.

Plan to stay as it gets dark at 8 p.m. for a special Moonlight Movies bonus showing of a football movie: “When The Game Stands Tall.”

It’s all good family fun at Village Green Park, 3141 Bridgeway Drive. Admission is free; bring a blanket or lawn chairs. Snacks available for purchase on site. Go, Big Red!
