Cordova Recreation and Park District (CRPD) will host its first annual Party in the Park event on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lincoln Village Community Park, 3480 Routier Road. CRPD hopes to help combat those end of summer blues with activities, giveaways, food, music and more.

Party in the Park is a free, family-friendly event featuring more than 45 vendors and a kid zone with an obstacle course and soccer shootout game. Lincoln Village Community Pool will be free and open to the public for family swim. Food and drinks, including hotdogs, will be available for purchase. CRPD representatives will also be in attendance to discuss recreation and park services and upcoming events and activities.

Event sponsors include Folsom Lake Honda, Koreana Plaza Market, California American Water, Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Golden State Water Company and Wing Stop.
