Fall Rebuild Day

Volunteers are coming together to help change the lives of low-income families in Rancho Cordova. Eight Rancho Cordova homes will be improved during the Fall Rebuild Day on Saturday, October 24th, and you can be part of it!

Rebuilding Together Sacramento* is returning to Rancho Cordova to organize the event with the theme of “Creating Safe and Healthy Homes.” Volunteers can sign up for the following:

  • Volunteers - Help with painting, yard clean-up, etc.
  • Skilled Volunteers - In need of contractors, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, roofers, fence builders, painters, landscapers, etc.
  • House Captain - Project manager for an assigned house.
  • Volunteer Coordinator - Coordinate volunteers at an assigned house.

Volunteers must be 16 years and older and will receive all supplies, lunch, and a t-shirt. Sign up to volunteer at http://rebuildingtogethersacramento.org/get-involved/volunteers/, click on “Registration”, and select “City of Rancho Cordova” as the group, if you are registering as an individual. Registration will be accepted until full. If you are interested in a skilled volunteer, House Captain, or Volunteer Coordinator, please sign up online and send an email to: seconome@rebuildingtogethersacramento.org.

The Fall Rebuild Day is made possible with support of a Community Development Block Grant and private sponsorships.

* Rebuilding Together began in 1974 and has since become the largest non-profit, volunteer home rehabilitation organization in America. The Sacramento affiliate launched in 1991 - as a barn raising activity to help low-income homeowners in need of home repairs.
