Brave the Shave in Rancho Cordova

Join Rancho Cordova as we fight to end childhood cancer that impacts 175,000 children worldwide every year.

Rancho Cordova's 2nd annual "Brave the Shave", a St. Baldrick's Foundation signature head-shaving event, will be held on Monday, March 14th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Drive.

This year's event will honor 4-year-old Dalton W., 5-year-old Karyn Pearl S., 6-year-old Timothy B., 8-year-old Thomas R., and 16-year-old Emily M. who are from Rancho Cordova or Mather. If you know a child with cancer that we should honor, please contact Lorianne Ulm at (916) 851-8755 or lulm@cityofranchocordova.org.

Our 2016 notable head-shavers include Vice Mayor Donald Terry, Folsom Cordova Unified School District Board Member Zak Ford, and Cordova Community Council's Melody Granger-Mayer. You can join the ranks of head shavers by signing up.

If you aren't quite ready to lose your hair, join us for the festivities! Enjoy free refreshments, raffles, and laughs as we shave heads.

Donations will be accepted on-site towards our $10,000 goal to fund life-saving cancer research, or can be made online here. Last year, we stood together to raise over $13,000 - you can help us do it again!
