Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony
Join Council Members, City Staff and Members of the Sacramento Tree Foundation for a ceremonial tree planting of a Tupelo Tree in honor of National Arbor Day. The tupelo tree was donated from the Sacramento Tree Foundation through their SMUD Shade tree program. Tupelo trees are deciduous and turn vibrant red, orange or yellow in the fall. They are tolerant of poor drainage and occasional drought.
