Join Rancho Cordova Mayor David Sander for a group ride to rack up miles for the May Is Bike Month website. The ride starts with a light breakfast at Karen's Bakery in Folsom, near the entrance to the American River Parkway. You'll be on your way around 8 a.m., riding along the scenic parkway to Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova where you can stop, regroup, and refresh at the 50 Corridor energizer station. Your next stop is Discovery Park where lunch will be served and you'll hear from community leaders and cycling advocates. At 11:45 a.m., the group rides to Old Sacramento and down Capitol Avenue to join the Regional May Is Bike Month Rally on the Capitol steps.
