Join two of Soil Born Farms' Educators and Naturalists Guy Galante and Alyssa Kassner on a guided walk into the American River Parkway where the native blue elderberry thrives. Participants will learn about elderberry, other native plants, and wildlife on the 2.5 mile hike.
The summer evening will be capped off with yummy homemade elderberry muffins and elderberry syrup with organic vanilla ice cream while stories of the day are shared in the Youth Garden.
Please note: Space is limited. This event is best suited for ages 5 and up. The event will begin promptly at 6:15 in the Youth Garden at American River Ranch.
