Want to learn how to turn waste into healthy, nutrient-rich matter that can be added to your garden or yard? Join Brit Schneider of Soil Born Farms in partnership with Republic Services and the City of Rancho Cordova for this informative and hands-on class where you will learn how to build, maintain, harvest and troubleshoot a compost pile. All levels are welcome. Weather permitting, part of the workshop will be held outside, so please bring appropriate clothing and footwear.

Rancho Cordova residents who attend will receive a free composting bin, and all who attend will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.
