Join us as we celebrate completion of the Rancho Cordova Elementary School Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Project!

We will kick off the festivities with a brief welcome and ribbon cutting ceremony. Then enjoy a neighborhood party that features a bounce house, dinner for purchase from a food truck, free ice cream and swag, music, and more!

The project is supported by the City of Rancho Cordova’s Community Enhancement Fund and includes more than 1.5 miles of new sidewalk, crosswalks, and bike routes in the Cordova Vineyards neighborhood. The project creates safe routes for residents and students in the neighborhood to walk or bike to and from Rancho Cordova Elementary School and throughout the area.

The City of Rancho Cordova is a safe and vibrant community that values connected neighborhoods for pedestrians and cyclists. In fact, our City was named a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists, and is working towards silver.
