What's New in the Barrel District

Post Date:09/05/2024 11:15 AM

Rancho Cordova's Barrel District is already a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike, and it's about to get even better! We’re thrilled to announce two exciting new developments that will bring unique flavors and fresh opportunities to our community.

Get ready to welcome Dao Distillery, the newest addition to our thriving Barrel District, set to open soon at 11460 Sunrise Gold Circle. Dao Distillery will specialize in crafting traditional Vietnamese rice liquor, known as ruou de. This unique and aromatic spirit, deeply rooted in Vietnamese culture, is poised to make waves not just locally, but across the country.

In fact, Dao Distillery is making history—it's California’s first, and the nation’s second, distillery dedicated to producing this rare and flavorful liquor. The arrival of Dao Distillery marks a significant milestone for both our community and the broader spirits industry, offering a taste of something truly special that you won’t find anywhere else in the region.

Keep an eye out for Dao Distillery’s grand opening in the coming months. Whether you’re a connoisseur of fine spirits or simply curious to try something new, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to experience ruou de right here in Rancho Cordova.

In addition to Dao Distillery, we’re excited to share that Movement Brewery is expanding its footprint in the Barrel District. Movement Brewery, known for its innovative craft beers and vibrant atmosphere, is opening a brand-new event space right next door to the brewery.

The Parlor at Movement is designed to be a go-to location for hosting private events, corporate parties, and social gatherings. With the capacity to accommodate up to 90 guests, and 12 taps offering a selection of Movement Brewery’s finest brews, The Parlor is set to become a great spot for celebrations of all kinds.

These exciting new additions are just a glimpse of what’s to come in Rancho Cordova’s Barrel District. With a growing lineup of distilleries, and breweries, the Barrel District is quickly becoming a local destination for food and fun in our region.

Stay tuned for more updates on the grand openings of Dao Distillery and The Parlor at Movement. We can’t wait for you to experience all that these new spaces have to offer.

We look forward to seeing you there!
