The City of Rancho Cordova wants to ensure that abandoned or illegally parked vehicles can be reported and towed in a timely manner, resulting in cleaner, safer and more beautiful neighborhoods.

How to Report a Parking Complaint

If you have a parking complaint, use the Rancho Cordova Connect app for easy reporting, or call 916.851.8940. In order to effectively and efficiently process your request, please provide:

  • Make and model of the car
  • License plate
  • Vehicle’s location

If your request is made through the Rancho Cordova Connect app, the city will let you know when your request is completed. If you call us, please provide your phone number, so the Community Service Officer can follow-up with you on the status of the request.

72-Hour Neon Orange Parking Tag

72 hour noticeIf your car has received a 72-hour tag, this means it is in violation of the California Vehicle Code or Municipal Code. Most of the violations listed on the notice can be corrected though voluntary compliance, and these could range from expired or missing registration tags, inoperable vehicles, or vehicles that have been parked for three or more days.

What to Do if Your Car Has Been Towed

If your vehicle has been towed, please contact RCPD at 916.875.9600 for a tow release form and towing company contact information.

What to Do if You Receive a Parking Ticket

If you received a parking citation, go to paymycite.com to pay or contest your citation. Please note: No payments or contests will be processed at Neighborhood Services or RCPD.
