RanchoBot Challenge 2024

Local nonprofit Suvidha International Foundation has been hosting a STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) robotics program for Rancho Cordova youth since January, thanks to support from the city's Community Enhancement & Investment Fund. The program taught the students the basics of robotics, robot design and coding, as well as provided them with team building and leadership development opportunities. The students will finish the program by putting their skills to the test in a robotics competition on Saturday, May 11 from 8 AM to 5 PM at Rancho Cordova City Hall. Learn more

iFest & Wines of the World

Join the Cordova Community Council at the iFest International Festival on Saturday, May 11 from 5 PM - 9 PM at Village Green Park, 3141 Bridgeway Drive. iFest is a festival celebrating the ethnic diversity of the community and reaching out to newcomer groups by offering an opportunity for them to showcase their cultural heritage. The event is a free, family-friendly evening in an outdoor setting. It celebrates the sounds, dance and tastes from around the world... and around the corner. The motto is “Small World. Sacramento Asian Pacific Film Festival

This annual festival features a wide range of films showcasing Asian Pacific American Heritage. The event runs May 25 - 26 at The Sofia, Home of the B Street Theatre, 2700 Capital Avenue, Sacramento. Learn more

Asian Pacific Chamber Night Market

Join the Sacramento Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce at the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Night Market on Friday, May 31 in Downtown Sacramento. This is an open-air market with good eats, good music and memories. Learn more
