Home MenuCelebrate Diversity Month
April is national Celebrate Diversity Month. Celebrate Diversity Month started in 2004 and is designed to generate understanding of our differences – whether it's diversity in gender, race, ethnicity, faith, or sexual orientation – and celebrating the oneness of all humanity. The City of Rancho Cordova is proud of its diverse community, and throughout the month of April, our community will celebrate diversity in many ways. We hope you'll join in.
Age
More than 81,000 people call Rancho Cordova home. The median age is around 33 years old, with 50% of the population under the age of 35 (U.S. Census 2010).
The city has three school districts, as well as 15 post-secondary and vocational institutions, to support our youth and adults. Celebrate Rancho Cordova students this month at the MACC for the 4th annual Rancho Cordova Student Art Show.
Rancho Cordova is a place where you can raise a family in a mix of new and established neighborhoods that offer a variety of home options and prices. There is a broad range of over 3,500 businesses to work at or enjoy, and free educational and training opportunities available to residents.
The Neil Orchard Senior Activities Center is a hub of activity for Rancho Cordova's active seniors, offering classes, events and activities.
